Antonia Paris - The designer
Antonia Paris is a natural born designer. Her talent and flair for fashion was passed down to her from three generations of couturiers, starting in Greece.
Her grandmother, Kaliopy, was a couturier for over 30 years in Greece, where she even made her own cotton by planting seeds and growing them. This was also done by Antonia’s mother, Anastasia. From an early age Antonia developed a fascination and finesse for fashion. Throughout her childhood years Antonia would sit in her mother’s sewing room and create her own dresses. As time progressed, Antonia watched as her mother created exquisite garments, all the while inheriting the skills passed down to Anastasia by her mother, Kaliopy. Eventually, Antonia began assisting her mother in the design and creation of her garments.
Commencing her formal fashion education Antonia studied fashion design for three years at one of Sydney’s leading fashion schools, Fashion Business Intelligence in Glebe. Antonia has married her passion for couture and fashion by launching her own label, Antonia Paris. Opening her opulent and glamorous boutique in the trendy up-and-coming Sydney suburb of Rosebery in 2010, Antonia designs gowns for the modern bride who desires a red carpet look and also creates a Ready to wear collection of contemporary wear for women. Antonia is known for her fresh approach to classical bridal, her creations evoke flawless femininity and sheer sophistication.

Antonia Paris Designs are an advocate for well structured clothing and dress making techniques.
The design house believes in only using select materials to create an affinity between the garment and the wearer.
Antonia Paris Designs have a soft spot for french lace and intricate beading, but are always interested in exploring new materials. Bridal wear, customised work for clients and ready to wear collections are fortes of Antonia Paris.
Please note that the design studio is open for viewing but is strictly by appointments only.
Antonia Paris is always welcoming the opportunity to work with others in striving towards achieving new goals.

It's finally here! Antonia Paris: Fashion is Life will be hitting your screens in October, but just for our early-bird fans we are holding a pre-screening of two episodes on September 28th at Hoyts EQ. FREE Giftbags? A chance to spot celebrities and a chance to mingle with the media? Why would you NOT attend?! Also keep a look out for our glamorous models who will be strutting our latest designs down Pitt Street Mall from the 20th-23rd September and again on the 26th-27th.

United Nude
So, the other day we were browsing through blogs and Park & Cube's (www.parkandcube.com) post on United Nude caught our eye and made our mouths go dry.
Talk about incorporating different fields into one product, the shoes featured in the United Nude boutique (www.unitednude.com) are the epitome of that very definition.
Such as this one:
Tell me you didn't think of architecture the moment you saw it. I dare you!
Speaking of which, the United Nude store displays does invoke raging fantasies amongst the Antonia Paris team. Fantasies of it being a space to call our own, as a walk-in shoe closet of course!

Music is the muse ...
It's been a very busy week with all the preparation for the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week where we will be debuting our new winter fashion range. To add to the fun we're also getting ready for the TV show, which we're all excited about!
While we are all heads down working on everything it's been good to have a little musical assistance as we plunge along with our work! As fun as it may be, there is a lot.
One of our personal favourites is a classical cover of our favourite, Lady Gaga's 'Born This Way', by Aston. It's a fun little number that gets us all along and back on track. Oh yeah! so we're on the right track, baby, we were born this way!

Both coats were a score for the vintage loving PR team.
The Peach coat (AUD $3!), that was discovered in NSW ,features pleated sleeves whereas the green wool cardigan was a steal (18 GBP) from Camden town in London!
New goods from our friends at Cosmopolitan Shoes... Roberto Cavalli, Sonia Rykiel, YSL...we're drowning in designer bliss. Especially love the necklaces!
Did a photo shoot in Drummoyne the other day in the wee hours.
With countless cups of coffee, the entire crew did a great job in meting out the tasks we had to fulfill that morning and we finished up in record time with awesome pictures to boot!
